Due to my health issue lately (clue: it got something to do with my tonsil) I’ve been pretty inactive (boo hoo) but I would never let this one slip by (hooray). Yes, a season’s greeting to all of you.

It is a special moment indeed to reminds us of love, friendship and the warmth of being together in harmony, let’s embrace and hope for the peace to be with us for now and forever.

3 Amethystory To Be Told – The Sample Store

These are Amethystory products. They have 5 items in the range, these are 3 must have items from the producer, Ginvera. Mineral Bubble Face Wash, Mineral Aqua Gel, and Mineral Aqua Whitening Enhancer.

The bubbles aren’t that thick and turns into watery within 3 minutes. It’s not dense. The scent is mild and pleasant. The bubbles feels soft and practical than lathering up by my self. It does provide a cleansing without striping off the moisture from our skin. Suitable for daily use to wash of dirt and daily residue.

Then I’ve tried Mineral Aqua Whitening Enhancer which feels slippery. I used it after the toner and before moisturizer. I didn’t see any radiant, more like moist effect afterwards. I can simply use a cotton pad or palm, either way using the product is not a fuss.

Then, the one that earn a spotlight in my household. Mineral Aqua Gel. We use it on dry skin.

Pump ’em as much or as little as we wish. Directly to the body part or any other skin on our body.

Within seconds the dead skin cells are forming. Some of use was getting a dark colored skin residue. I’m not recommending the product for highly sensitive skin, it is better to test them on arm’s skin than directly to the face. For me personally, I can’t use the product on my face for sensitivity issue, redness on the cheek and breakouts afterwards. But I love what it does to my body. Soft, deeply clean skin and renewal.

Totally Screwed by Parlez-Moi d’Amour John Galliano Event at Central Park

Today I went to an event held by Luxasia for the launch of Prlez-Moi d’Amour by John Galliano. A perfume that smell sweet and perfect for a girl. The event was held at 2-4 PM, each guess attending the event with Taylor Momsen look get a chance to win a bottle. Total of 3 people can win the prize.

So I went in at 2 PM, and there has been giveaways and a really aggressive saleslady that really too eager to make a sales, while other sales remain calm, professional and lovely. The MC keep giving prizes for those who can answer questions, I want to answer it many times but stopped, she told me that there’s a bigger prize in the end for guess who come looking like Taylor Momsen.

Prelude: 1 hours before it all begin, start at my home, I kept changing my look, dress, clothes, shoes, jacket, bags, etc, so I can get to Taylor Momsen look, knowing that the best 3 will win. I made sure I come on time.

Okay back to the event. 3 PM has strike and there’s no more crowds, passer by just keep passing by, I keep waiting for the announcement of the winners for best dress. That’s why I come here for. In a spirit of Halloween love dressing up, I am waiting patiently. Standing there while watching passer by get prizes for all those simple questions. They doesn’t even wait, they didn’t dressed up and they didn’t care for the event while I’m there totally committed for THAT particular event.

Sadly but true at 4 PM they finished the event without any news about the best dress, WHAT?!!! Yes, 2 hours plus road trip around 1 hour and 30 minutes back and forth was plain useless, I kept thinking of tons of other things can be done for 3 hours and 30 minutes (I am being generous doesn’t include prep time). It’s feels like unappreciated and well, disappointment.

Lesson learn: Choose the event I really need to attend, those who doesn’t appreciate me probably doesn’t even deserve my presence.

Oh yeah, I’m still doing a review for the perfume, I AM professional ^__^

The scents is really sweet in the beginning, really like blueberry jam, but the base note reminds me a lot of scented tissue back in the old days. The top not only last for a while (1 hour max), and the one that sticks with you is the base note only (+/-4 hours).

• Perfume or Body splash? Perfume!! I love perfume!! —> same with nisa, in fact, I’m addicted to perfume, I’m like using them every 30 minutes, kept sniffing myself if I ain’t feelin’ any

1. Multitask: I do numerous thing in one go, back in college days I put my sheets on my toilet walls and read ’em while brushing my teeth and waiting for the hair mask to work. Now, when I blog, while I’m waiting for the pics to be uploaded, I do the dishes, laundry and mop the floor, yes, I do my own stuff, I’m not a princess yet.

2. A bit (some say a lot) Neurotic: Can’t stop thinking. It’s like my brain really love to works.

Passion Fruit Facial Cleansing Gel The Body Shop

Oohh I’ve been using Passion Fruit Cleansing Gel from The Body Shop since years ago and I must say, it’s my favorite all in one cleanser from TBS. From the gorgeous scent to how easy and simple it is to use. Like a normal cleansing gel just foamed it up and use it to cleanse your skin thoroughly from daily debris, still heavy waterproof mascara use the eye makeup remover first then this juicy cleansing gel next.

For me the cleansing gel is suitable for all skin type, my husband have oily and acne prone skin type, my sis have oily skin, my bro have sensitive and dry skin, and I have normal to dry skin, we all use it happily. It’s just light and lovely.

It’s perfect for traveling, for family use, or you just like the smell. Juicy!!

To My Grandfather

I don’t think it will be this difficult, he died 2 weeks ago and I still can’t get through this. I’m escaping myself every time and didn’t allowed myself to grieve. I never knew death can be so close. It’s always happen to someone else, but when it hit me, it’s just difficult.

Now I know the meaning of saying “I love you” to those you love whenever possible, it’s real and not just a cliche since you really never know when. I’m drenched in tears now as I’m writing this post for him knowing for sure he is not here to read it. I love him so much.

I’ve been in cycles of emotions from sad, numbness, anger, trying to forget about it, and all over again and again. I didn’t come to his funeral, I can’t bear the sight of his body, can’t bear to imagine he’s not waking up, his body just lying there and can’t move anymore. And I have to be strong in front of my grandmother who is staying with me now, if I break down she’ll follow me and grieve more. They have been together for 70 years, the word soul mate doesn’t even compared to their love for each other.

My grandparents are like my parents too, I was really fond of them. I kept thinking about them and just love to be around them, even when I moved to Singapore I kept writing letters to them to keep in touch, no, they don’t do email, normal letter using the service of postman. They taught me so many things in life, it’s just so funny how some people can’t see that.

My grandpa taught me honesty, it is the most important thing in the world for him, and for my grandmother, she taught me how to be a woman in a household, but she is very modern, she also work, from farming to baking and cooking. She taught me how to become a good mother. How to be a good wife, how patience endures and melt the coldest heart.

My grandpa final year is a misery.  They don’t have their own home and his first and youngest children refuse to take him (and my grandma) into their home (for unreasonable excuses). We live in an apartment that was so small that they also refuse to be a burden to us (which was so not true, they are never a burden). So they rent a small place. He was sick for months and somehow every time we visit him, he was in okay, and the next day his condition would drop so bad ’till he couldn’t walk anymore.

My grandpa is 90 years old, a very strong male with wrinkles. He doesn’t have any illnesses like old man have (Alzheimer, cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetic, or anything) he was healthy but the doctor said they found something in his liver. Everything has been done including a successful but somehow his condition went from stable to worst.

He was gone too soon. If I can have a wish, I would say just one more day with him, just a day without the pain, I want to see him smiling, listening to his favorite folk songs, flirts my grandma,
and telling me stories from the past.

Just to be with him, and told him I how much I care and I wish I can do more for him.

Dove Intense Care Overnight Treatment

Recently in the market these overnight treatment for hairs are booming. Just like the skin need night cream, so does the hair, especially broken hairs.

On the packaging Dove claim to know the hair problems and night is the right time to tackle the problem by using an overnight treatment.

The problem is, they say to use on damp hair, the problem is, my hair never damp at night time. So I just spray my hair using facial spritz, or just spray with a bit of plain water using a mist sprayer

Let see whether it will be able to penetrate that deep, or even deep enough with no stickiness outside, I just hate limp hair and sleeping with an oily and limp hair is a nightmare for me.

So I use accordingly 2-4 pumps, the white cream feels, look and smell exactly like Dove Conditioner. It does penetrate easily on the hair, I kept them away from my scalp but overnight I can’t stand the overwhelming scents, Dove, if you read this, please do reduce the scent on Overnight Treatment, except if you change it into lavender to induce sleeping mode ^_^

I also use it as my pre-wash treatment like an hour or two before shampooing, it made my hair soft to the touch too and this is good if you can’t do it overnight.

 Today I was lucky enough to be able to meet some of the leading ladies behind Fimela.com. So around 1 PM, I waited for them whilst having the privilege to sit on the famous sofa that are known to be comfy by famous people interviewed here. 

On my left side lies the front door that leads to the office area. I think I come on lunch hour since most of them are out. 

On my right side they have some artifacts that interest me and across the glass window is Social House. Yes, Fimela.com is located at Grand Indonesia Shopping Town Level One.
