Hi everyone,

as always IBB has come with another makeup challenge not to be missed ^__^ This month’s theme is Bling It On, inspired by diamante and products that’s on the stake is from NYX. You got to won a set of hampers worth Rp.500.000. There will be two winner as always so the total prize is Rp.1000.000.

Don’t forget the staffs of IBB and past winners are not allowed to participate.

-*-

So, as a staff myself, I’m just going to share my version of Bling It On.

Above is my before look, so plain ^__^

A pre-cleanse skin with toner, serum and moisturizer.

-*-

Step 1:

Using an All In One BB Cream from The Body Shop in 02. A little bit too dark for my skin tone but I’ll compensate it with a fair Cyber White EX compact from Estee Lauder which is a bit too light on me.

-*-

The BB Cream starts as white cream and by dabbing it all over the skin, they’ll turn into skin tones accordingly.

-*-

After the BB Cream is well spread.

-*-

Step 2. To finish off the base I’m using compact by Estee Lauder by using the sponge and carefully blend everything well since sometime it can be cakey. But by adding Revlon loose powder somehow they are able to create a harmony.

-*-

Step 3.

Using a highlighter, bronzer and shading all in one with that famous item from The Body Shop. Which I think wonderful and able to give me an enhance cheek bone. Shaping the face to be more contoured than before.

-*-

Step 4:

Adding some blush action for that healthy perky rosy glow also using a product from The Body Shop.

Step 5.

Eye shadow and eye brow pencil from ZA

-*-

Step 5.

NYX, The Curve, an eyeliner with unique shape and design which made using eyeliner easier. The curvy tool made the hand stay steadier while during application deliver rigid line. So don’t try to do a straight line all the way. Make small lines and connect them that smooth lines above the eyes.

-*-

Below is the result. Since the look focusing near the eyes area, I’m making a slightly longer lines with a wink upward.

-*-

Using an eyelash curler from Shu Uemura only to help the lashes to curls.

 -*-

Before the final step which is decorating, colored eye lenses, and fake lashes, I use the lip gloss from The Body Shop, it smells berry-licious but found to be quite sticky.

-*-

I hope it add some tiny bling on the look thou’

-*-

By using eyelash glue, I add some bling on forehead. And some heart shaped gold dusts (product by IZU) on the rear sides.

-*-

One on the right side and one on the left.

-*-

The images are taken with 2 different camera, iPhone and Fujifilm Fine Pix. iPhone able to capture normal light with more focused on details on low resolution, while Fine Pix absorbed light more with higher resolution yet unable to focus on closed range.

-*-

I hope you get the idea ^_^

-*-

But I feel I need more bling so I added one more but still in an ambiance of simplicity and hoping to see the contestant to take it further and really bling it on!

-*-

Check out my full transformation below of before, and after all are done.

Hello there!

Za is here ^__^

Yes, yes, another Za products and this is the last one I (currently) have. They are good quality products in affordable prices, what’s not to like?!

-*-

details from www.za-cosmetics.com:

The ultra-thin brush and liquid maintain sharp lines for hours.

it comes in only one shade, black.

-*-

The packaging is simple but still very nice, this Japanese product is known to be effective and effortless. Za Marketing assured me no matter how you put them on (Za cosmetics) it would never go wrong. Anyone can do it, that’s their motto. Suitable for beginner to professional.

Look at the eyeliner, it is able to create a very fine line with steady constant straight uninterrupted streak.

-*-

Don’t forget to read all the details provided in the packaging before throwing it off ^__^

And start making lines for your eyes!

-*-

From so thin (image at way above) to this thick the super sharp gentle brush can do it all without fail.

Is it waterproof? Like 75% yes. I do have rather active glands near the eyes, so it sweats a lot and tears do come down ofter to lubricate the eyes, but so far, no smudges once set. So when the ink haven’t set, I can easily clean the error.

The shape of the liner is common, the ink given is a very good quality, I did mistakenly put it inside my eyes a few times, it never sting the eyes (I try not to do that again) and the ink can easily be removed from inside the eyes with tears and tissue.

The shaking action is needed just so the ink can flow beautifully.

Overall,

It’s a simple eyeliner with dark black ink, 75% waterproof, anti-smudge, fine soft gentle brush, and hardly fails on me ^__^

Hi everyone,

Eyes Groovy from Za is considered a new item in the market, mine is in 02 which is White Illuminator.

I choose this shade since I want a look which can be use daily that enhance the eyes without being too much, the shade may be used as a highlighters as well.

-*-

Details from www.za-cosmetics.com:
EYES GROOVY

Express yourself with six carefully matched colors! Brilliant Powder Complex creates sheer, bright colors. Special formula enables colors to spread smoothly and apply to eyelids evenly. Colors won’t smudge over time.

-*-

The shade are somewhat like a pink, light green, pearl white and sparkling black.

-*-

Behind the packaging a simple guidance is given but you may use anyway you please. I found all of their texture to be super fine, except for the sparkling black, a bit rougher.

-*-

From the swipes all of their texture can be seen which 1,2, and 3, like a very fine powder and 4 to be a lot more pigmented and to the touch like this small tiny dust. I use No.3 as a highlighter as well and sometime No.1 to add a bit of rosiness on the cheek after blush on. No.2 may be used to hide red marks on the skin like from irritations, acne, or other ‘red’ thingy =^__^=

Cleansing wise, they are pretty easy to be cleaned, use any makeup remover or a simple foaming facial wash will do (when used without primer).

Ola everybody \^0^/

I hope to day is a great day for everyone, if it doesn’t, just swipe all the hardship away and rejoice ^__^

Have a clean heart is always good, same goes with a clean face after abundant makeup are put on heehee.

Za Eye and Lip Makeup Remover is here for your service.

-*-

Details from www.za-cosmetics.com:

EYE & LIP MAKEUP REMOVER

Dual-phase makeup remover 100mL

Surely removes waterproof eye and lip makeup and leaves the skin smooth with no oily feeling.Moist texture.

-*-

Before usage make sure to shake the bottle well so the two part become one, and it will be like this cloudy liquid, a mix between water and oil.

-*-

Use a cotton and pour some, depends on how much you need it to be, but on the eyes, please be careful as don’t let any of them drip to inside the eyes. Just made sure the cotton is damp, not drenched.

-*-

I’ve gathered mascara, eyeliners, lipstick, eye shadows, waterproof eyeliners, pencil eyeliners, crayon eyeliners, eyebrow colors, etc just for this test alone.

Let them sit for a while and made sure all are dried and set. I give them a chance to have a grip.

-*-

Then gently swipe the cotton, this is what happen after the first swipe, the waterproof makeup will stay holding on, reluctant to leave their place.

-*-

After several rubbing action with the cotton (without adding more remover) all of them doesn’t have the chance to fight back. Result? A clean skin, free from all makeup.

-*-

I continue with the rest of the products on my hand and they are gone alright, leaving the skin oily. For me it is impossible to just leave the condition like this and double wash with a foaming facial wash.

Overall,

A gentle makeup remover for the eye and lips. Easily cleans everything including the hard to crack waterproof products, but it leaves the skin oily, so use a foaming facial wash afterwards to remove all oiliness left behind.

-*-

Hello ladies,

Petal Pink is in da house. A lovely bright pink hue for the lips from Za Cosmetics.

Details from za-cosmetics.com:

-*-

10 shades for us to choose from and mine is 01.

-*-

The packaging is cute and very girlie. White pearly covering with letters Za printed on it.

-*-

With Prismatic Red Pigment and moisturizing agents and vitamin E, the lipstick does feels rich on the skin without drying the lips. It is quite pigmented and so pinky pinky =^__^= I don’t remember the last time I use such a pink lips.

-*-

The neat packaging is sleek and looks suitable and presentable to be carried around daily. A trademark of a hip Japanese product. Yes, Za is from Japan.

The lipstick fills in the lines on the lips, here is an image of my lips using it, looks so sweet isn’t it?! The look below is my lips without any base or lips pencil.

-*-

Overall, it’s a moisturizing lipstick without being too greasy nor oily on the lips. There’s a light scent but definitely not overwhelming, so it is a pleasing scent and feeling on the lips also quite light.  It doesn’t gives my lips any enhancing effect, it just show the lips in colored version. Suitable for daily use and hopefully all the nutrients and ingredients which is said beneficial on the lips shows result for a long term usage. Will I keep using it? Yes, since the lipstick feels comfortable with a nice touch of fresh colors.

-*-

The shades comes in 5, from Glowing Pink to June Bride. Mine is in Strawberry Pink. A very lovely floral blush perfect for daily use or on a romantic date.

Simple design in a hard plastic covers, most Japanese over-the-counter cosmetics are like this. In a transparent packaging for a no-fuss-no-frill customer delights. The product inside also the same, it produce the exact same color to be used on the cheeks. Start slowly and gently tap the blush (applicator provided) and gradually build the desired color.

-*-

It’s a simple product that deliver result accordingly.

-*-

I found the shade to be very cute and suitable for ladies around 20’s and perhaps below ^__^ those who are 30’s may still use it for that perky youthful glow.

The texture is smooth and not highly pigmented, suitable in creating a natural look. No sparkles nor highlighter seen, the blush is again, a very simple product with the color just like shown, a pinkish strawberry.

Za Wonder Shaper

Hi everyone,

this particular item is called Wonder Shaper, a product from Za for the body. I know this item like years and years ago, I think it has been around for more than 10 years.

-*-

Wonder Shaper is a light green gel with a light green bottle. It is made to help shape the body as there are ingredients inside it that help promoting blood circulation around the skin, so the skin become firmer and the shape become better, slimmer and fitter.

-*-

I’ve used it before and thrilled to see they still got it. The formula gives my skin a refreshing sensation, there are a lot of  ‘slimming’ gel nowadays in the market with chili in it. Capsaicin known to help burn fat, but the ones I’ve tried ‘burn’ my skin alright and redness appeared as the gel is really really hot on the skin and feel so uncomfortable. I would go down in cold sweats and well, sweats due to that. The worst part is I can’t touch anyone nor let my skin touch others as the ‘burning’ feeling will get to them as well.

So in terms of comfort and friendliness, I opt to Wonder Shaper as it feels so good on the skin, smells fruity and minty at the same time (no yucky smell whatsoever like other brand) and on the skin, it gives this wonderful tingling sensation and far away from burning.

-*-

I always use it after shower when the skin is still a bit damp and on areas such as tummy, thighs and sagging upper arm.

You can read the ingredients on the image above, I’ve tried to find the details on the web but perhaps it has been discontinued or maybe just for sale in certain area. I still saw one during the Beauty Event.

-*-

What I like about Wonder Shaper is not just the wonderful scent but the ability to quickly absorbed by skin, there’s no leftover on the skin, no greasy, oily or stickiness. I also feel an immediate softening effect on the skin. I can’t see what happen inside the skin but I like what I see outside.

I don’t recall the weight loss but I do noticed firmer looking skin with less problem such as cellulite.

-*-

Overall,
it is a light weight light green gel with refreshing scent and sensation on the skin, which make the skin feels so soft, energized and comfortable in the same time. I love the cooling minty feeling and again, the aroma to be very interesting and delightful. Help improves the condition of the skin to be firmer, smoother, softer, less bumps due to undistributed fat (such as cellulite), and help tones the appearances as well.

Hi lovelies,

another Za is here. This time it’s the Ever Brows, specifically made for the brows ^__^

-*-

Mine is 02 the cocoa brown.

This is a very simple product, also so easy to used and practical. Compared to other similar product Ever Brow has several positive sides.

The colors are not intense as other brand, it helps avoiding super bold eyebrow which looks natural.
The dry crayon texture is perfect to draw a natural brow un-fail-able.

The no need sharpening is brilliant. I hate those pencils which need sharpening and then when I do sharpened them only to found the broken pieces as all the pencils inside easily cracked.
The brush is soft and user friendly, helping the brow to set easily and naturally.

-*-

Overall,

it’s another ‘working’ product from Za that gives result without the burden of a high cost. Simple, very user friendly and works really well.

Hi everyone!

I’m back with Za, a brand from Japan that is famous for it’s two way cake. The powder may be used on dry or wet skin with a lovely perfect finish coverage for daily usage.

Here’s some info from za-cosmetics.com:

-*-

Packed with a lo of good things such as collagen and hyaluronic acid, the micro fine powder is a delight sensation as well on the surface of the skin.

As I mentioned during the Beauty Event, I’ve used the two way cake during my college days. It’s the only two way cake for me, since I used to take the bus daily. The sweats and sebum are unavoidable, this two way cake stands through it and gives me a natural flawless finish.

Then not long after that I moved to Singapore and found how the two way cake also loved and look for by so many customers, it is a best seller year after year. The price also considered budget friendly with the result that beats some high prices two way cake from other brand which some time can be blotchy and cakey.

-*-

And now, thanks to Za Indonesia, we are united, the last time I used the powder is when I’m still in Singapore, 2 years ago and over the years they keep improving and innovating the product become better and better with the same unique function of working in dry or wet condition.

I still remember back then they use numbers for the shades, now mine is called OCOW.

The powder gives me a medium coverage to high when used with other Za products such as the liquid foundation. It stays almost all day long indoor and for heavy duty activity can easily do a touch up and I’m good to go. Suitable with the sponge given or foundation brush. Sometime do I add loose powder for a luminous finish.

Overall, it’s a great product, affordable price and gives wonderful result. And occasionally they come in special edition packaging that is super duper cute, like this one:
