Hello everyone,

this month Lola Box is a perky bright orange-yellow sunshine, please do see the video here:

-*-

There are a lot of items isn’t it?! And I’ll be waiting for next week where Lola will replace the expired item with the new ones.

I’ve tried some of the product now and like Skin79 it will be on a different blog post ^^
But for the rest of the item, I’ll share my personal thoughts here:

Clarins UV+HP11 SPF40 UVA UVB PA+++ Oil Free and Anti Pollution Day Screen Multi Protection.
A milky salmon lotion which distributed easily on the skin for a velvety smooth feeling, a bit glossy but still comfortable to be used daily.

Clarins White Plus Total Luminescent Serum.
A clear cool almost 100% transparent gel that smells so good and freshen up the skin almost instantly. Absorb so fast and leave the skin plump and lovely. I would love to use it everyday just for the texture alone.

Air Lift Toothpaste
A simple toothpaste which have a properties almost like a minty chewing gum, keep giving me a fresh minty feeling up to an hour after brushing the teeth with it. The thick white paste is providing fresh breath, but I think I need more than just a fresh breath, like the one for sensitive teeth.

Masami Shouko Cleansing Sponge and Puff.
Both work well like usual, but I like the puff better since it feels softer on the skin. I know the cleansing sponge help trigger skin simulation but sometime when rub too much during cleansing will irritate my sensitive cheeks.

The Face Shop.
The Clean Face series, Toner and Lotion.
A fragrant collection that tone and moisturize the skin in a light way. I can’t say anything more from the 5 ml products.

-*-

That’s it for now, see you on my next post regarding Skin79 and Make Over products that will be sent to my home by Lola Box ^^

Thank you so much!! Keep giving me surprises yaaaa.

Hi all!

Another review about skincare from The Face Shop, these two are the result of my beauty swap with Hanna ^__^

Here’s some details from the packaging.

Sebum Control Toner

This non-sticky, astringent toner formulated with Tea Tree Oil, lemon Oil, and Chamomile extract absorbs quickly to regulate sebum production for exquisitely clean skin.

Directions: Moisten cotton ball with toner and apply using gentle, outward strokes. Pat T-zone skin for added benefit.

Mild Emulsion

This refreshingly mild emulsion is uniquely formulated with Tea Tree Oil, Bisabolol and Sodium Hyaluronate to instantly soothe, hydrate and heal skin while the senses delight in the revitalizing fragrance of tea tree.

Directions: Gently spread all over place

The glass bottles is a bit heavy yet look luxurious, I love both of the scent, tea tree and lemony ^__^
Definitely fresh in terms of scent but on the facial skin, not really.

Here are the texture of the emulsion (in milky dew shape) and the toner (clear watery dew). The toner is light and mildly refreshing but I can’t seems to understand the word exquisite clean. For me it was moderately clean for my dry combination skin type.

It wasn’t drying, so the toner is pretty much comfortable even for my dry skin but still, it is best to be used daily for those with normal to oily skin type or combination oily skin. However those with very oily skin wont be satisfy with the product. Especially when adding the mild emulsion. It is a bit (just a tad) sticky on the skin too. For the skin to absorbed the mild emulsion itself tooks time. Perhaps since there’s mineral oil in the ingredient’s list or other ingredients that causes the mild emulsion feels heavy . … er than mild. Not really heavy but not mild either, since after emulsion, moisturizer is still needed.

Conclusion, if I have to choose then the toner is my choice as it does gives the skin a clean feeling. Both products smells great and refreshing but not really gives the skin a clean feeling that I expected. I’ll give them 6,5 out of 10 points.

I used The Face Shop before for their moisturizer, foundation pressed powder and now it’s time I do a review for their Loose Powder that are soft and gives me a natural looking finish. Here is some of the information I found on the website:

Dewy Flower Moist Loose Powder 23 Natural Beige –
Dewy Flower Moist Loose Powder 23 Natural Beige

Concept

This dewy line is formulated with our blend of 7 white flowers. Antioxidant-enriched white flowers protect your skin against pollution while giving your skin a flawless look

Sets foundation to last longer while controlling excess sebum on the skin. Your skin is more flawless and blooming.

So the loose powder is used after all the basic are set during makeup process. It helps the foundation stay on longer and thanks to the powder the natural look that seems in a breeze can last better. It doesn’t feel cakey at all, in fact it feels so natural. Warning! This loose powder is not meant to be use alone so it doesn’t provide coverage to anything you wanna hide. When used alone it can only help with the excess sebum to be more controllable.
The color can suits most skin tone since they are natural beige and when used on the skin seems colorless. Suitable for daily use. One input thou’ I found the puff to be too thin and a bit tricky to use. A face brush would be better.
