Hello sunshine,
like seriously, don’t you think the sun shines brightly these days? I feel the sun has been glaring at me everyday and the heat is just too much.

I like to use sun protection but let’s face it, some are just too sticky and not an all in one, face and body product. Most of the good stuff are for the face, either tinted or in a form of a BB Cream or CC Cream. They are great alright, but the skin on my body need some attention too.

Look what come knocking at my door yesterday? Yes, Biore Singapore has sent me these goodies. A bowl, a love letter, lemon and their newest item from the BIORE UV family. Aqua Rich, a watery essence water based SPF 50+ PA+++

I wonder why there’s a lemon in the set? Oh, the freshness of Aqua Rich and there’s lemon extract in the ingredients as well. But the bowl? I guess when life gives me lemon, I made lemonade? Or Lemon squash salad ^__^

This is the product. Long before this one come, I’m already a fan of Biore’s sunblock as they have this amazing lightness in every drop and water-based too. Say bye bye to white cast during photo shoot and hello to the sun without being afraid.

The packaging is neat (like most Japanese product), simple and all the details are written on the paper card attached to the tube.

Let me jotted down the fine prints:

Forget about the heavy, sticky feel of regular sunscreens! This water-rich UV Essence feels surprisingly light and cool, like water on your skin, absorbing instantly for an invisible, weightless finish.

With Biore’s breakthrough technology, the UV block ingredients are contained within the Aqua Micro Capsule to provide SPF 50+/ PA+++ protection while keeping your skin cool and refreshed.

And some other details ^__^

Double UV Block from the UVA (skin aging) and UVB (skin burning).

With Hyaluronic acid & Citrus extract to keep skin hydrated and healthy. Extract of orange, grapefruit and lemon is there.

Unique Aqua Micro Capsules releases moisture upon application, leaving skin with a cool, light feeling with a mild fresh fruity (zesty) fragrance.

Usage: Apply evenly on face after moisturizer and before makeup. Re-apply after excessive perspiration. As with all sunscreens, cleanse thoroughly with a makeup remover.

This tube is around 50g, I’m already getting ahead of myself feeling so sure it will be a very wonderful product.

There it is, a light yellowish creamy super light gel, it almost feels like a dense mousse. So soft to the touch and watery too. Moist in a hydrating way where the skin feels supple instantly with no oil or greasy effect whatsoever.

I place the Aqua Rich in several different places on a cleaned moisturized face.

I love the refreshing scent, indeed unlike most sun protection where I noticed that distinctive sun block scent. Aqua Rich different, different is good.

I’ve noticed these tiny white spots when the Essence is spread, then by a simple massaging movement they are all gone. Without a trace. Like the skin just consume all of it. The feeling and sensation it gives is refreshing, hydrating and light, so light it was like wearing nothing.

This is the zoom-ed photo after 4 seconds massaging the essence into the skin. No pressure is needed, just gently rubs them on the skin. This is amazing. No residue, no greasiness, no oily, no white cast, no sticky feeling, no stickiness to the touch, just a soft hydrated skin.

Above is me after using the Aqua Rich, I love it so much and will definitely recommend the product to be used on daily basis, face and body, any gender and on almost any age (I have to check whether it is suitable for babies ^__–)

While other sunblock will usually ‘bothers’ the usage of makeup afterward, Aqua Rich wont.

love love love.

Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF50+/PA+++ is available all around the world including Japan and Singapore.

Hi everyone,

this particular item is definitely not a new thing on the block, it has been around for a while but I haven’t get my hands on it ’till now.

Reading how many bloggers seems to love it as a makeup remover and daily cleanser, I tried it on.

The packaging is simple and cute, very Japanese, maybe due to all the kanji written heehee. I have high expectation to the product since it can clean everything, from sun protection, makeup and daily debris. Hopefully it help save the time and money too, no more double cleansing or triple cleansing, or is it?

I’ve tried to find the product details on their official website but failed to find one, maybe since the product no longer available out there or change into something new.

But in Indonesia the product still available in major supermarket.

A milky liquid and smells flowery, feels a bit thick and sticky, easily mixed with water and bubbles up. The lathers is fluffy after working on it for a while.

The result?

It doesn’t clean all the makeup like I long for. The waterproof mascara and eyeliner are still there. I still have to do a double cleansing with a cleansing oil to get all the waterproof makeup to be completely cleaned.

It does cleans daily debris and sun protection (after 2 wash), smells good but  . . . not really a makeup remover for a waterproof makeup.

Hello everybody,

They come in 4 range for different skin need, I get mine in Extra Moist and in Scrub. Other variant such as the one for oily and acne skin are also available at major supermarket and drug store (all over Singapore).

These are mine, I love them, the packaging really like the one I saw in Japan, very neat, soft and luxurious (Biore? Luxurious? Touch them and you’ll understand what I mean).

The Extra Moist Biore Facial Foam is for dry and dehydrated skin (mine).

“Dry, dehydrated skin needs a creamy and gentle cleanser that softly cleanses without irritating the skin, and provides moisture to the dry, flaky areas.”

Biore Facial Foam Scrub (pink one) is for all skin types.

“Accumulated oil, impurities and dead skin cells can clog pores and make your skin look rough, dull and lifeless. Reveal healthy, glowing skin with this cleansing scrub that is gentle enough for daily use.”

These are the product inside each packaging. The Extra Moist Cleanser that shaped like a gooey mochi after poured down at the table. The scrub is creamy, white and have tiny pink dots. They both smell wonderful.

The mochi smell lovely, sweet and comforting, while the scrub smell refreshingly floral.

Extra Moist Cleanser feels so soft, delicate and thick, the scrub feels slightly rough, creamy and less thick compared to the extra moist.

The close up image of the scrub. Look at those tiny pink dots, so tiny and friendly to the skin.
This is the Extra Moist, look how gooey it is, like melted marshmallow. I love the texture, everything that’s looks like condensed milk is always good \(^^\)
For reviewing purposes I put the scrub on my right cheek and Extra Moist on my left cheek. Where later the right side will be cleaned using Scrub and the whole left side with Extra Moist.

Both are comfortable and cleanse the face gently. While the Scrub have granules the Extra Moist is so smooth and gentle to the skin. It makes my skin so slippery and moist. The Scrub offer deeper cleansing without the squeaky effect, this is lovely!

My cheeks are sensitive, the scrub is a bit tingling on my cheeks only, I like them at my nose where they clean the pores better. The Extra Moist feels so nourishing and I can see myself using it everyday. This is definitely my new favorite cleanser that cleans without striping off my natural skin condition.

I’ll keep using the Scrub 2-3 times a week and Extra Moist daily to achieve a mochi-like skin, clean from all debris and feels so moist (~^o^~)

1. Always make sure the face is wet and make abundant of foam before applying them to the face. It’s the foam that cleanse, not the ‘raw’ product. The soft, fluffy, foam will easily be created with Extra Moist. Bouncy and very cute. Like a fluffy white bunny.
2. Gently massage the skin with the foam (for Extra Moist) and for the Scrub, make sure the areas such as nose, the one with larger pores, get thoroughly scrubbed.
3. Rinse it well.
4. Use toner afterwards, serum and moisturizer of your choice, after all, cleansing is only a part of making a skin nourished, protected and comfortable. The whole routine is needed.
Thank you Biore Singapore.

gentle fruity rose fragrance

My review:

There’s nothing gentle about the scent, it is the first thing that I noticed 🙂 but it is still pleasing and entertaining ^^.

The foam is thick yet delicate on the face. Love how it cleanse my facial skin from dirt, grim and sweats, but for makeup I still recommend to clean the waterproof with makeup remover and for eye lashes to use the wipes from Biore too since it will be gentler and precise.

I like the fact that for daily use I don’t need double cleansing when using this product. My skin feel clean and soft at the same time. Another great product by Biore that I hope come to Indonesia as soon as possible.

Today I decided to clean my brush, which means it’s something I’m not routinely do (I know I should), but since I really love this brush I just don’t want to ruin it. Numerous times with my previous brushes I made them rough and I need them soft. This brush from The Body Shop is one of my favorite and I want to treat it well, and this is some of my tips to keep it in tip top shape and condition.

Using the cleanser products at my home, means I’m not using any brush cleanser that commercially existed. So, pretty much is the stuff you can easily find anywhere.

I’ve tried using baby’s shampoo as many other recommend but during the cleansing process (warm water mixed with baby’s shampoo) there’s a lot of gunk stick at the brush and it can not dissolve in the water since perhaps I use a lot of base, foundation, powder, and 2 way cake collide together in the brush.

Using a dishwasher liquid will help the gunk to be removed but based on experience it will dry out my brush, leaving it worst than a bad hair day.

It’s just doesn’t work. So I’m thinking I should just try using makeup remover and the first thing come in my mind is a cleansing oil.

I pump 2-3 times and mixed it with warm water. Oh yes, I do use a small cup and mix it all up with my brush. Gently stir everything up. Careful! Wet brush are so easy to took off and never pull them nor soak the brush all the way till the root. The glue wont last.

For the cleansing oil, I use my Skin Inc Trinity Cleansing Oil. And I was right, the oils dissolves all the gunk out of my brush and my brush still feels soft.  But now there’s a oily feeling left on the brush. I use my facial foam.

Pump the foam and the small particles of the foam was able to go inside the brushes, splendid! No more oily feeling and the brush still soft since I’m using a product for facial use. But still, before the final rinse I use the baby’s soap to help me clean up everything behind. I keep using warm water all the way until the end. And keep changing the water all throughout the cleansing process, each product took around 2-3 rinsing process.
Each cleansing product that I used manage to clean different particles and makeup residue. So, for me one brush need more that one cleanser, since I use my brush for almost everything in the base.

Then, just place the brush on a paper towel and I’m not placing mine in a direct extreme sunlight, more like the sun from my window. Keep changing the paper towel when it’s wet helps the part that’s below to be dried faster. For me this position is the best one to dry the brush, standing up/upside down will make the brush messy and sometime just ruin it.

Keep rolling the position occasionally, so your brush wont slanted.

Again, be gentle and be patient, don’t clean your brush on the day you want to use it, it takes hours for the brush to be completely dry, hair drier might help but never overheat.

Last but not least, clean their home too. Using a normal anti bacterial wipes and swipe everything off, simple yet necessary.

Hope it work well on you too ^__^

Hi all ^__^
I’ve been using this make up remover that really is a saver for me. The wipes are soft and delicate even for my eyes. I’ve done a bit of review regarding the product —> HERE! But this is my update after using Biore Make Up Remover, Cleansing Oil Sheet for months and months I’m still in love of how the wipes really act like an eraser and wipe all the makeup off in the simplest way possible. I also use a fake lashes occasionally and the glue sometime just difficult to be cleaned with cleansing oil, foam, etc, but this wipes does it!

I also use infallible eye liner and the wipes just clean the waterproof liner in a jiffy. No more going to bed with my eyes piling on makeups, all clean and I’m off to bed. Eyes are always my trickiest part when cleansing oils may cause some blur if I use them to close on the eyes, but this wipe is the answer.

Perfect for any type of makeup, water proof or not, sensitive areas or just about anything. I give the product 5 out of 5 star for being budget friendly and highly effective yet gentle.

Biore Pore Pack

I’ve been a loyal fan of Biore Pore Pack for 10 years now, there’s never a better product for me (cheap too) to be used at home, convenient and it work! Pulling those nasty blackheads out of my nose’s pores in a jiffy.

I know there’s other brand with like 10 or 50x the price, but budget wise? Biore Pore Pack is the best.
I know that most of you have use it, but for those who haven’t just read the simple ‘how to use’ direction on the packaging. Tips from me: wash the area (nose) with facial foam and rinse it, no need drying it, just made sure your hands are dry when touching the pack. Gently remove the plastic and put it on your wet nose. Don’t sweat while you’re at it. Use a fan, air conditioning or just about anything to keep yourself cool. Why? when you sweat it’ll take longer time for the pack to dry and it would not get a good ‘grip’ on those blackheads.

After the pack is dry, you can feel it harden and tight (15-20 minutes), pull it out, you’ll see your blackheads (and some fine hairs) on the pack, woopie!

Clean the leftover with water/facial foam, use toner that help closing the pores and moisturizer. If you’re skin is prone to acne, open pores may lead to acne, so use a tea tree oil or other facial-skin-friendly disinfectant after using the pack.

I use the pack once a week, don’t overused it, I think 1-2 a week is enough.

I’ve tried the original pack, the black one (on the picture), green tea, and sakura. They all worked out the same for me, it’s just the green tea and sakura are better in scent. Oh yes, if you have larger nose, you can use the one for men.

Some time ago I’ve done the review for the exact product, yet since it was originally from Japan, none of the language was understandable by me. Surprise, surprise, The Sample Store send me one with a complete explanation . . . in English!

Wow! A bottle equals to 150 pumps, a day you use twice for 2 pumps and you get a full month plus plus ^___^

The packaging is really cute and do you see the bouncy mallow flying.

From behind. Can’t see it clearly? Just click on the image bellow:

and the details  . . . I’m just so happy I can understand.

I use two pumps on my clean hands and wet face. Why 2, I like their gooey foam and spread them on my face and neck too, since they are super soft, my neck also love them. Yes, don’t use normal body soap for the neck, it might dries them.

I’m ready using it again with full complete details, muach!
The dense and super soft foam, so bouncy too. This is what I called a perfect lather. You do know that it’s the foam that do the cleansing in cleansing foam/gel, right?! If you didn’t lather it well you’ll get that squeaky clean that actually stresses your skin. And you won’t want your skin to be stressful right?! We already have enough stress in this world, we need stuff that de-stress us in anyway possible, like Biore Marshmallow Whip Facial Wash.

This is a sample of a flat lather/foam which I usually have with other facial foam. And it is almost impossible to get them dense. And do you know that Japanese girls always pay attention on their cleansing regime for a clean skin without the stress. And they have done so much to achieve the perfect foam, from continuous mixing with hands, using special cloth, sponge, etc. I know this since when I went there, in every hotel a special sponge/cloth is equipped in every room.

But thanks to the handy device and material from Biore Marshmallow Whip Facial Wash you just have to pumped it and . . .
They stay! It’s so dense and ultra fine that it stays even thou’ I put my hand upside down. This is a good test you can do for yourself at home. Any cleansing foam you have, lather it up and test it, it’s really difficult for a normal cleansing foam to reach this stage while actually your skin need to be cleaned ON this stage.
After more than a minute the foam are still a lot, usually lathers are easy to pop! This shows the quality of the foam.

And they still sticks too!

My skin are ready to use it, the soft faint scent is a lovely too, but nothing beats the cushion that feels bouncy and do not stress my skin since the foam is 200 micron, yes! Smaller than our pores, so it’s really tiny and super soft now.

Wanna try some? Do it!

It can cleanse your skin with a collagen enriched foam that moisturized your skin to a baby soft feeling. The foam is so comforting. It feels like all the moisture on my skin are still intact happily.

Rinse well and voila! A clean soft smooth skin . . . no, no touch up, makeup whatsoever, this is my skin right after rinsing the foams.
Selling in Singapore at $13.90 at any major supermarkets and pharmacy.
And maybe you would like to play a little?

You need a facebook account to open it, thou’
Play a bit, they are quite fun and challenging too, the speed are increasing!

And be on top to win the prizes. Yeay!! Who could resist 300$ H&M vouchers.

Thanks to my lovely friend Shirly, she got me a Biore Foaming Face Wash Marshmallow Whip directly from Japan . . . Oohh ^0^ as all of you might know many worldwide branded items are from there with their high quality skincare products. Contained Collagen inside this foaming facial wash comes in their own pumping device that able to product marshmallow-ey foam ready to be used.
Yes, I don’t understand Japanese language too, in the end it’s just telling us it’s a cleanser that keep the skin moist, like all skin type too, my friend told me it’s a hit in Japan ^__^ with 200 ultra fine microns lather that able to clean daily sebum, sweat, dirt on our facial skin.

Is it really soft, yes it does, smooth too. I won’t say ultra, but it does feels smoother, and so far the smoothest texture I found in a self-foaming facial cleanser so far. During the cleansing the scent of fresh floral and it reminds me of another product which I can’t remember, but I like it. Afterwards my skin feel clean without being squeaky clean.
1.Suitable and perfect for daily use.
2. Not suitable for removing waterproof makeup.
3.And love the softness of the foam.
4. Handy self-foaming device.
5. Gentle yet effective for normal daily use.

I will definitely continue using it.

From MayoClinic
All sunscreen labels list a sun protection factor (SPF). SPF is a measurement of how much protection the sunscreen offers from the UVB rays that cause sunburn. A few sunscreen labels also list a “PA” ranking, which refers to the amount of protection the sunscreen offers from the UVA rays that may cause long-term skin damage. PA rankings are listed as PA+, PA++ or PA+++. The more +’s, the more protection from UVA rays. For maximum protection from both UVA and UVB rays, choose a broad-spectrum sunscreen that contains avobenzone, oxybenzone, mexoryl, zinc oxide or titanium dioxide. Apply sunscreen liberally 30 minutes before going outdoors and reapply every two hours.
